Sonnen Haus

Named for its generous light — Sonnen Haus or "sun house" in German, is built for two who want to slow down. Situated  on seven Hill Country acres between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. With a Dark Sky Texas "Be A Star" designation you're one porch step away from some of the darkest night skies in Texas. You're five miles from Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, and  Most guests arrive with a plan; most leave wondering why they made one.

Liebesnest

Liebesnest, "love shack" in the language of the Germans who settled the Hill Country — is a chic container cottage built for 2 on 7 secluded acres. It's a short drive to Main Street, candlelit restaurants and wineries. With clean lines,  pillow-top queen & private hot tub - it's an intimate hideaway where sunsets give way to Dark Sky stargazing. You're zero steps from the kind of quiet that makes a weekend feel like a small vacation from your own life.

Small on purpose - Tiny Tex is a thoughtfully designed micro-cottage where a pocket door reveals a full wet-room bath, blackout curtains buy you slow mornings, and a built-in Bluetooth speaker sets the mood. Klein Peach Cottage

Stonewall has been the Peach Capital of Texas for more than a century, and Klein Peach is named in its honor. Set on seven acres in largest part of the Hill Country, this cottage for two has a queen bed, shaded pecans, and a seasonal creek. It's minutes from roadside peach stands, LBJ's boyhood ranch, and more than 50 local wineries. The days are as sweet as the fruit and the stars are big and bright. A retreat with as much history as charm.

Last Stand Private Retreat

Last Stand is a private 4-cottage, 7-acre Hill Country retreat for your people and nobody else. Spread around a central common area — fire pit, picnic tables, charcoal grill — it's the kind of gathering for time together but also space to disappear into when the day ends. Booked most often for milestone birthdays, family reunions, and the "we needed this" kind of weekend that quietly becomes annual tradition. Bring your people; leave the noise behind.
